The SBK Group is a legacy infrastructure firm founded by Subhash B. Khakal, with a strong foundation built over three decades in civil contracting and infrastructure development.

Established in 1990 and registered with the Public Works Department, Government of Maharashtra, the firm has evolved into a trusted partner for large-scale infrastructure projects – particularly in the water supply, sewerage, roads, earthwork and railways sector. Recognising the critical importance of access to clean drinking water across urban and rural India, the company has developed deep expertise in executing end-to-end water infrastructure projects across the India. Over the years, the SBK Group has successfully delivered turnkey projects for leading government bodies including Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran, Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority, NTPC, Indian Railways and other prominent municipal corporations.

With a Class I contractor status since 2010,the firm is qualified to undertake infrastructure projects of unlimited value – reflecting its scale, capability, and consistent performance.
